Actor Ram Charan and his wife, entrepreneur Upasana Konidela, are celebrating a beautiful new chapter in their lives. The couple welcomed twins a baby boy and a baby girl on January 31, bringing double happiness to their family. The joyful news was confirmed by megastar Chiranjeevi, who proudly announced that he is now a grandfather to twins.
Recently, Upasana shared an inside video from the special day on her X (formerly Twitter) account, giving fans a heartfelt glimpse into the moment. The video shows Ram Charan and Upasana entering the hospital together, while an emotional Chiranjeevi waits patiently outside. His reaction after the delivery quickly became a favourite among fans.
Upasana chose Apollo Hospital for the delivery, the same place where her first child, daughter Klin Kaara Konidela, was born in June 2023. Reports revealed that two medical teams were present to ensure the smooth and safe delivery of the twins. After the birth, Chiranjeevi shared the happy news, saying that by God’s blessings, both a baby girl and a baby boy were born. Soon after, pink and blue balloons were released outside the hospital as fans celebrated with dance and cheers.
Sharing her emotions, Upasana wrote that watching the video fills her heart every time. She expressed deep gratitude to her family, the Apollo Hospital team, and fans across the world who prayed for them. She also requested fans to always respect the safety and privacy of her children.
Ram Charan and Upasana married in June 2012 after being friends for several years. While Ram is Chiranjeevi’s son, Upasana is the granddaughter of Apollo Hospitals founder Prathap C Reddy. On the work front, Ram Charan will next be seen in Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming sports drama Peddi, set to release on April 30.
