Varun Dhawan Will Never Reveal Daughter Lara’s Face For This Reason

Varun Dhawan made it clear that he won’t share his daughter Lara’s photos on social media.

Varun Dhawan is an over protective father and we have time and again witnessed it. During a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (formerly Twitter), a fan eagerly asked Varun when he plans to share a picture of his daughter Lara. The actor responded honestly and directly, stating that it would not be his decision to make. Varun explained that he believes his daughter should have the right to choose for herself how and when she wants to be visible on social media, once she is old enough to understand and decide.

Varun emphasized that exposing a child to public attention from birth can have long-term consequences. According to him, it is far better for Lara to grow up away from the constant glare of cameras and digital scrutiny, and later decide how much of her life she wants to share with the world.

Since Lara’s birth, Varun Dhawan and his wife, fashion designer Natasha Dalal, have been extremely cautious about maintaining her privacy. While the actor occasionally shares glimpses of his journey as a parent through subtle videos or posts, he has always ensured that his daughter’s face remains hidden. In fact, Varun once deleted a Diwali post that featured Lara, reinforcing his commitment to shielding her from public exposure.

Varun’s approach stands out in the entertainment industry, where star kids often trend on social media from infancy. His parenting philosophy aligns with a growing number of modern parents who prioritize consent, digital boundaries, and the psychological impact of early online visibility.

For now, Varun Dhawan seems content raising Lara away from the spotlight, allowing her to experience a normal childhood. As he clearly stated, when the time comes, it will be entirely Lara’s choice how much she wants the world to see not a decision made on her behalf.
