Actor and producer Richa Chadha has teamed up with acclaimed music composer and singer Sneha Khanwalkar for the official title track of her upcoming non-fiction travel series, Musafiri. Celebrating India’s diverse cultures and untold stories, the series promises to take viewers beyond the usual travel destinations.

Composed and sung by Sneha Khanwalkar, the title track captures the curious, adventurous and free-spirited essence of the show. Known for her distinctive musical style in Gangs of Wasseypur and Sound Trippin’, Sneha brings a unique sound to the series.

Speaking about their collaboration, Richa Chadha expressed her happiness at working with Sneha once again. She called the composer her lucky charm, recalling how their professional journeys have crossed paths since Richa’s debut film, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. Sneha also composed a song for Richa’s first production, Girls Will Be Girls, and has now come on board for her first project as a creator.

Richa praised the track for its humming, curious, mischievous and lullaby-like quality, adding that Sneha has a special ability to find the soundtrack for India’s countless stories.

Sneha Khanwalkar, meanwhile, praised Richa’s independent voice and her journalistic approach to storytelling. She revealed that she initially created a rhythmic track with a gibberish vocal cue, after which Richa wrote the lyrics herself for Sneha to record.

With this collaboration, Musafiri brings together travel, music and storytelling in a celebration of India’s many cultures and landscapes.
