Today, Kiara Advani is counted among Bollywood’s top actresses, but the journey to success was far from easy. In a recent interview, the actor reflected on the struggles she faced during the initial years of her career and revealed that even the massive success of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story did not instantly change things for her.

Kiara made her debut with Fugly in 2014, but the film failed to make an impact at the box office. Although she later gained recognition for portraying Sakshi Dhoni in the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, the actress admitted that the film’s popularity did not automatically lead to better opportunities in Bollywood.

The actor shared that failures became important learning experiences for her and helped shape her career choices. Despite starring in a successful film, Kiara said she still struggled to find strong projects and had to continuously prove herself in the industry. According to her, the turning point arrived when she bagged Lust Stories, which helped filmmakers notice her talent in a new light.

However, Kiara believes it was Kabir Singh that completely changed her career trajectory. The film’s blockbuster success established her as a leading actress in Bollywood and opened doors to bigger projects across industries. Since then, she has starred in films like Shershaah, JugJugg Jeeyo and Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Kiara’s journey is now being seen as an inspiring example of persistence, patience and surviving the challenges of the entertainment industry despite setbacks and uncertainty.
